What would Obama do?

Over Thanksgiving, Islamic terrorists killed close to 200 people in multiple attacks in Mumbai, India. We all know where President Bush stands on terrorism, but what would Obama do if it happened here? Would he go after the terrorists like President Bush, or would he try to negociate with them to find out why they hate us so? He has talked the talk about how he would capture Osama Bin Laden but can he walk the walk? What do you think?

Yes, but what will we get in return?

The Sainted One, the great Obama, has said that maybe he won't raise taxes on "the wealthy" afterall. This could be some good news, but, knowing Obama and how raising taxes on "the wealthy" runs in his left-wing liberal blood, he'll find some way to stick it to the US tax payer, so don't go off singing the praises of The Sainted One yet. Taxes are going up, whether the Sainted One says so or not, since Pelosi and Brother Harry Reid haven't said they wouldn't raise taxes and we all know how they love to tax "the wealthy".

Another Publik Skool Suckcess

If you have ever wondered how the collection of idiots that we call US Elected officials can mess things up as bad as they do, this is probably one of the main reasons why. The test that they gave those officials sounds like the same test that the guv-mint gives all immigrants who want to become American citizens, ergo, how stupid are our elected officials?

At the end of the article, the organization who gave the test, ISI, said that "activities that dull Americans' civic knowledge include talking on the phone and watching movies or television -- even news shows and documentaries". In other words, watching the MSM is one way to completely suck all the knowledge out of your heads when it comes to American history and civics. Our last election was a very good example of this since the least-qualified candidate was elected. For any of you Obama supporters out there, you may not want to hear this, but he was elected just because he was black, not because he had any special qualifications (unless being lack is one). And liberals say that conservatives need to move past race.

Bend over Utah

One of the first planned executive orders that The Chosen One will issue within a femtosecond of taking office is to stop all oil and gas exploration in Utah. Of course, he will say it is to protect the environment, blah, blah, blah, but could it be for other reasons? Utah voted over 60% for McCain and now it looks like The Chosen One is going to use his power to punish the citizens of the state of Utah. Welcome to "Yes We Can" Utah.

Reflections on a moment in history

Since everyone else is doing it, I'll give my reflections on this moment in history. The MSM and everyone else is saying that this is a momentous occasion in history and they are right. America has elected the most unqualified, light-weight, left-wing candidate in it's history all in the name of diversity. How stupid can we be.

Anyway, for all his flaws, during President Bush's terms in office, I was pretty well certain that he would kill terrorists and try to avoid stealing my money. Unfortunately, I doubt that Obama will do either.

Over at the Wizbang, there is a post about how the election of Obama is eerily similar to the election of Jimmah Cah-tah in 1976. I have thought the same also (especially how President Ford was very unpopular and how Iran was starting to cause problems) but this post explains it much better. What was that old saying? Those who cannot remember history are destined to repeat it? I guess we'll see what the next four years brings.
