Going to Hell in a Handbasket

It's been one week since the Republican meltdown, or otherwise know as the 2006 Midterm Elections and here's what has happened:

1) The terrorists are celebrating in the streets with the eminent withdrawal of US forces from Iraq and the Sunni arabs are fleeing the country. Although the terrorists freely admit to using the US media to generate a Vietnam War backlash against the war in Iraq, none of the Defeato-crats care to stand up and deny that, as put by Cpl. Hicks in the Aliens movie, "Marines, we are leaving".

2) Soon-to-be House Speaker Nancy Pelosi showed her intelligence when it comes to "things like war and stuff" when she told Brit Hume that Iraq "wasn't a war to win, but a situation to solve."

3) John "Cut and Run" Murtha has thrown his tin hat into the ring to run as House Majority Leader. Since he was an un-indicted co-cospirator of the AbScam investigation, I guess he feels qualified to be in charge.

4) Republican Senators have stated that they would consider filibustering any legislation presented by the President and the sell-out Defeato-crats on amnesty for illegal aliens.

5) Sir Elton John blames organized religion for all the anti-gay discrimination in the world. I'm sorry for him that he suffers from Religion Derangement Syndrome (RDS), but why not just go to the link and check out his photo for the story and then reflect on his statement.

Wow! All that in one week. I don't know whether to be happy or depressed. I guess we'll see what the future brings.
