I voted and you should too!

Since I'm usually out of the country during election time, I vote as an absentee voter. This year, we have a total of seven different parties (Repulican, Democrat, Libertarian, Constitution, Green, Desert Green and a party which as a happy face as their logo, the Personal Choice party) fielding candidates in the state of Utah. This year, after looking at the assorted clowns and bozos that the different political parties had put on the ballot, I voted a straight Republican ticket.

Some may say that I am narrow-minded or just some conservative robot under the evil spell of Karl Rove (oops, I forgot to throw "Bush Lied, People Died" in there somewhere), but in the long run, the only party that will make America better and not tear it down IS the Republican party. The Democrats have shown themselves to be completely inept when it comes to national security and the economy, so why bother to vote for them? Everyone else are just spouting Democratic talking points (Bush-Lied-People-Died, US out of Iraq, military bad/terrorists good, raise taxes because big oil and rich people bad, homosexual marriage good/religion bad, environmentalists heros/big oil bad, etc., etc., etc), so the logical choice if Republican.

In short, I would counsel any of the myriads of reader of The Warren to do as I have and vote Republican since everyone who has a pulse knows that a vote for the Democrats is a vote for terrorists and higher taxes, no matter what the MSM/Bill Klinton/Nancy Pelosi/Howard Dean/etc., etc., etc. would have you believe.

Oh, I almost forgot.
