...in my prediction for the Big Game. It was much closer than I expected, and for a while it looked as if BYU was going to choke yet again.

But in retrospect, this was probably the best outcome of all: The looks of stunned disbelief on the Ute fans was worth the extra stress. They were sure Utah had won the game, and after Harline hauled in the pass, they just stood there.

There are many satisfying ways to defeat Utah. Blowouts are especially nice, but a last-second, come-from-behind-in-the-final-minute victory at Rice-Eccles is probably the best.
