The law of unintended consequences

Yet another example of the law of unintended consequences, applications for concealed weapons permits in the state of Utah have quadrupled from four years ago and going along with that, gun sales in the state of Utah have gone up from just over 125,000 in 2007 to almost 140,000 in 2008. For those of you who are gun control advocates (otherwise know as "gun-fearing whoosies" on other blogs) and cannot fathom why this is happening, I only have two words for you: President Obama. Thanks to Obama, gun dealers in Utah are having a very good year.

Although he didn't really say much about gun control during the election, we all know that any statement and/or promise he may have made comes with an expiration date, ergo, it's best to "git yer gunz" now before Obama throws the 2nd Amendment under the bus and outlaws anything to do with the right to bear arms, 'cuz he's a liberal and that's what liberals do, pass laws against law-abiding citizens and kiss-up to criminals.
